About Brooke

I am Brooke. I am a mother, wife, sister and a daughter. I live locally in the Adelaide metro area and seek out any opportunity to go camping and fishing. I have two gorgeous boys whom I adore and they undoubtedly drive my passion for my work.

I am a paediatric occupational therapist and developmental educator and have worked in paediatric developmental and mental health services across SA for the last 15 years. I am fascinated by early infant and child development and am a self-proclaimed ‘child development nerd’.

I am experienced in supporting babies and children who are presenting with developmental delays, disabilities and/or emotional difficulties. I have trained in a range of therapeutic modalities (my favourites are listed below) but believe wholeheartedly that the key to any effective intervention is ongoing collaboration with parents and caregivers who have the deepest relationships with the child.

I believe that parents have the most influential impact on their child’s development and wellbeing. I work in partnership with caregivers to provide therapy approaches that empower parents to support the development and wellbeing of their little one.

About Chris

I am a psychologist, teacher, and father of two energetic boys who keep me grounded, curious, and constantly learning. I live in Adelaide and value time outdoors — camping, fishing, and exploring — which is often where some of the best conversations and reflections happen.

For over 15 years, I have worked within school settings across South Australia, supporting children, adolescents, and their families through the academic, social, and emotional challenges that accompany growing up. Working both as a registered psychologist and a teacher has given me a deep understanding of how young people experience school — not just cognitively, but socially and emotionally as well.

I have a particular interest in psychoeducational and therapeutic assessment. I see assessment as far more than a diagnostic process — it is an opportunity to deeply understand how a young person thinks, learns, and experiences their world. When done well, assessment becomes a powerful tool that helps families and schools respond with clarity, compassion, and practical support. My reports are strengths-based, collaborative, and designed to translate into meaningful change in everyday settings.

In therapy, I offer a client-centred and neurodivergent-affirming approach. I draw on evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and elements of Solution-Focused and Dialectical Behaviour Therapies. My work focuses on helping young people build emotional awareness, develop practical coping skills, and strengthen their sense of agency.

Above all, I value collaboration. Parents, caregivers, schools, and health professionals all hold important pieces of the puzzle. My role is to bring those pieces together in a way that supports growth, resilience, and long-term wellbeing.
